Laura Stefania Efthymiou
Onwer and Creative Director
Laura is passionate about creating one-of-a-kind designs using the latest trend in interior design—preserved moss—and introducing it to Cyprus as a fresh innovation in contemporary interiors.
Although her professional background is in accounting, she studied Fine Arts for four years in Romania.
Originally from Romania, Laura has lived in Ireland and London, and is currently based in Larnaca, Cyprus, where she enjoys life with her family.
Nature has always been her greatest source of inspiration. Discovering moss as a design material felt like “coming home,” inspiring her to begin creating small-scale designs and participating in exhibitions and fairs to introduce this unique material to the Cypriot public.
Her work has been featured on local television, in various local and international magazines, and she has also participated as an exclusive event decorator for five-star hotels, prestigious summits, and high-end events.
Laura has been invited to speak at various events across the island, presenting the benefits of preserved moss and its role in modern interior design and biophilic spaces.

He is actively involved in my journey, assisting with workshop activities and being part of the installation team. His curiosity, energy, and fresh perspective bring joy and creativity into every project we build together.
Sharing this path with him is not only inspiring, but also a reminder that design, nature, and learning can become a beautiful way to connect generations and shape a more thoughtful future.

With a strong emphasis on process optimization and strategic coordination, he supports the studio’s expansion across residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. His work ensures that creativity is matched with strong execution, allowing Design with Moss to deliver high-quality, bespoke biophilic installations across Cyprus and beyond.
